According to the BBC, bombings of several churches and hotels took place just a couple of hours ago in Sri Lanka. The targeted churches were Catholic, and holding Easter services at the time of the attacks. Fewer seem to have been killed or wounded at the hotel locations.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack; but there is an extremist Muslim presence in Sri Lanka, and the country's Muslims and Buddhists have long been violently at odds with each other and that has including bombings of each other's religious institutions.
