Build the Wall

I just got done reading Chris Hedges Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt. I knew the shadowy underground economy of undocumented workers was bad, but I had no idea just how bad it's gotten. It's unbelievable how we're allowing people to be treated who come here illegally. They have no voice, because they're living in the shadows and are terrified of being sent back, so the abuse just gets worse and worse. The people who would normally be fighting for them are too busy fighting to salvage what's left of the hollowed out middle class, which is just a shadow of it's former self. And the ones that do speak out, like Hedges, are drowned out by stories of rampant drug OD's, high suicide rates, rising crime rates, and what a grinding day-to-day struggle it is just to live a poor facsimile of the American Dream.

We can't let people come here illegally to be treated like the crop pickers in Immokalee county. It's modern-day slavery, and people have been prosecuted for actual servitude in Florida. We're not doing people any favors by having such a porous border. We're just making it worse, because the people that have the initiative and drive to change things in their own countries are doing everything they can to come here. Who can blame them? But if they're just going to end up being exploited by a new set of corporate villains, we can't let it go on anymore. Give the people here a chance to be citizens, and make it hard as hell to get in here illegally.

I thought this was all put to bed long ago. but today I find this madness...

For sheer amusement, I engaged them. After 30 minutes of hot spouting of the chemmie nuttery and refutation of same by me, the inevitable happened.

"Who paid you to come here? You are an evil government shill, admit it."

To which I responded..

"well, nobody pays me to be here. This is where I live"

That went under the carpet in short order.

Man lost 75% of his brain: he still led a normal life, how is that even possible?

This man lost 75 % of his brain. Yet he walks and talks as usual.
How is this even possible according to the current scientific consensus:

This falsifying evidence destroys the 'brain = mind' idea completely:

Are laws against corruption unconstitutional?

Apparently the Supreme Court is considering an appeal by former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell who was convicted for corruption. If he wins his appeal, it could mean that essentially bribery of public officials would be protected by the constitution.

There’s No Such Thing as a Free Rolex

Quote:

THIS week, the Supreme Court heard McDonnell v. United States, the case of Bob McDonnell, the former governor of Virginia who is appealing his 2014 conviction for public corruption. Although the court’s ruling is not expected until June, in Wednesday’s hearing several justices seemed set on undermining a central, longstanding federal bribery principle: that officials should not accept cash or gifts in exchange for giving special treatment to a constituent.

Justice Stephen G. Breyer dismissed the idea that, in the absence of a strong limiting principle, federal law could criminalize a governor who accepted a private constituent’s payment in exchange for intervening with a constituent problem. Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. expressed disbelief that an official requesting agency action on behalf of a big donor would be a problem. A majority seemed ready to defend pay-to-play as a fundamental feature of our constitutional system of government.

In September 2014, after a six-week trial, a federal jury convicted Mr. McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, on multiple counts of extortion under the Hobbs Act, a key statute against political corruption, and honest-services fraud. It was not a complicated case. Jonnie R. Williams Sr., the chief executive of a dietary supplement manufacturer, Star Scientific, had showered the governor and first lady with gifts in return for favors.

We’re not talking about a few ham sandwiches. The McDonnells took expensive vacations, a Rolex, a $20,000 shopping spree, $15,000 in catering expenses for a daughter’s wedding and tens of thousands of dollars in private loans. In exchange, the governor eagerly promoted Mr. Williams’s product, a supplement called Anatabloc: hosting an event at the governor’s mansion, passing out samples and encouraging universities to do research.
Hopefully the author is reading too much into the questions asked by the justices at oral arguments. I would be shocked if this appeal isn't slapped down.

Quote:

The former governor has claimed on appeal that he had a First Amendment right to accept these gifts. He also disputed that holding meetings, hosting events at the governor’s mansion and recommending research were “official acts.” There were quids, he argued, but no quos.

And the justices seem poised to agree. Their main worry appeared to be that Mr. McDonnell’s prosecution had criminalized what they perceived as normal, day-to-day political behavior — seemingly more concerned for the chilling effect of federal bribery law on an elected official who accepts a Rolex than for the citizens who are hurt by such self-serving behavior.

Reverse Racism and Police Shootings - two great tastes that taste great together!

I am always very dubious when pundits and activist trot out statistics like "X% of people shot by cops are Purple" or "Y times as many killings are Green on Green" and other essentially meaningless numbers that sound like they back their case. Of course we see this in other things, like employment or education or the wage gap, but those are at least slightly more scientific and have a discourse about controlling for variables and other rational attempts at understanding context.

Which leads to this study:

Quote:

The conventional thinking about police-involved shootings, and some scientific research, has been that black suspects are more likely to be shot than white suspects because of an implicit racial bias among police officers. But now a new study has found exactly the opposite: even with white officers who do have racial biases, officers are three times less likely to shoot unarmed black suspects than unarmed white suspects.

Sanders supporters for Clinton

Seems like it's time for this thread. Let's start with the big one:

Sanders: I'll fight to keep Republican out of White House if I'm not nominee

George Takei scolds Bernie supporters who would rather “bust” than vote for Hillary
Quote:

“If Bernie believes that,” he said, “his supporters can too.”
Takei noted he spent time in a Japanese internment camp during WWII for "looking like the enemy" when he was interviewed by Chris Hayes on MSNBC. Takei thinks Trump's message is in the same vein.

Will Bernie Supporters Vote for Hillary if He Loses? What a Bunch of Backers at His L.A. Rally Say.
Despite the current polls:
Quote:

I asked nearly a dozen Sanders supporters what they would do if Bernie lost, and nearly every one of them indicated that they would support Clinton in a general election. A handful of them said they would do so enthusiastically. The animating factor seemed to be Donald Trump....

Jenna Steckel, 25, said she was too traumatized by Ralph Nader and hanging chads costing Al Gore the 2000 election (during which she was 9) to ever vote for a third-party candidate, even though her “politics are aligned with [perennial Green Party candidate] Jill Stein.”
Relax—Bernie’s Supporters Will Back Hillary If She’s the Nominee
Quote:

But if history is any guide, a mass defection of Democrats and Dem-leaning independents is the last thing anyone should worry about. We’ve seen this before and we know how it will play out.

Ironically, in 2008 it was Clinton supporters vowing to stay home—or vote for John McCain—if Obama became the nominee. At the time, that same HuffPo columnist warned that “balkanized Democrats could give the White House to John McCain.” That May, primary exit polls found less than half of Hillary Clinton’s supporters in Indiana and North Carolina saying they’d consider voting for Obama in the general election. Even in early July, after Obama had secured the nomination, only 54 percent of Clinton backers said they planned to vote for him.

Those self-described “PUMAs”—“party unity my ass”—may have stayed home by the dozens that November, but at the end of the day nine out of 10 Democrats supported Obama in an election that featured the highest turnout in 40 years. A similar dynamic played out with Howard Dean supporters in 2004.

I just got done watching a new video from a YouTuber I've come to be fond of lately. He's a Canadian who goes by Black Pigeon Speaks and I think he makes effective presentations on controversial topics.

This video is about how destructive diversity is to societies which rush headlong into embracing it as a core policy.

Ohio Murders - Anyone care to Speculate a Motive?

About a week ago, 8 members of the Rhoden Family were killed in rural Ohio. Police say they were executed. The killings were near-simultaneous and took place in 4 different locations during the night. Three of the locations had what police call "Marijuana Grow Operations" at them - although Robbery of Cash or Drugs doesn't seem to be the motive of the killing (for plenty of cash and Drugs were left behind at the scenes(s)).

Other motives have been speculated - even the involvement of Mexican gangs, but nothing has been proven.

Me...I think it was an effort to get rid of potential "Informants". I think law-enforcement was well aware that the Rhodens were weed growers and I think the Rhodens were also ratting-out other people - or contemplating such action. As a result, someone (who was afraid of being ratted out) went through a lot of trouble to whack so many people - and it was a masterful hit job - very comprehensive. Also, the job was so quick and clean it makes me think that whoever whacked the Rhodens was very close to them - someone they knew and trusted (they could easily get close before killing them), and who knew them and their lifestyle very well. Hell...maybe it was another bunch of Rhodens what did it!

What do you say?

A spanner in the AE 911 Truth works

On the 26th April I sent this email to Mr. Adrian Richardson of the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service (UK).

Dear Mr.Richardson
In an email, seeking support for AE911 Architects and Engineers, Mr. Richard Gage states the following;

“Before heading to the AIA Convention to educate thousands of architects, Dr. Niels Harrit and I will be educating hundreds of fire professionals in the UK.”

"On Tuesday, May 3, we’ll be speaking at the Eastern Branch of the Institution of Fire Engineers in Essex. Then, on Wednesday, May 4, we’ll be speaking to the Institute of Fire Prevention Officers and the Fire Sector Federation in London. We are honored and delighted that these prestigious professional associations have invited us."

May I ask in what capacity Mr. Gage will be educating these “hundreds” of fire professionals, as I am unaware of any fire prevention qualifications Mr. Gage holds, and has Mr. Gage been specifically invited by the Eastern Branch of the Institute of Fire Engineers?
Mr. Gage believes the Twin Towers where destroyed by explosive demolition.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

NASA ADOPTS NASSIKAS BASED PROPULSION SYSTEM BUT WITH INFERIOR DESIGN AND OUTCOMES

This is such a momentous dot in the passage of our evolution that I have reproduced la Violette's posting which he made today . It is shown below and I do not apologise as this will change our lives a million times more than has occurred in the whole of our past history .

.As indicated here nearly two weeks ago the next propulsion process is essentially a free energy proposition
Nassikas ( With P la V ) has been working in this area for a considerable time and Paul la Violette has refined and tweaked Einstein's work and provided the underlying theory that dispenses with Newton's third law of motion --- when he created Sub quantum Kinetics .
Ironic that NASA have now announced that they are adopting this development framework but without Nassikas efficiencies -- I am guessing that the latter hold the key patents .

NASA NEWS QUOTE
The next-generation engines that NASA is counting on to power missions to an asteroid and Mars will begin taking shape soon.

The space agency has awarded California-based company Aerojet Rocketdyne a $67 million, 36-month contract to design, build and test an advanced, superefficient solar electric propulsion (SEP) system. These new engines should have a profound impact on the future of spaceflight, NASA officials said.
For me the most interesting thing i will be how will the Nassikas camp stay alive , let alone retain control of the most shattering and amazing invention in man's history .
No power elite will ever let Energy out of its grasp . Along with Money and Food such controls decide who rule and who work and serve .

How a New Field Theory Could Explain Reactionless Propulsion Thrusters
Posted by P. LaViolette
April 29, 2016

Recently, there have been many news reports circulating about the EMDrive, the reactionless propulsion thruster developed in 2001 by aerospace engineer Roger Shawyer:

http://ift.tt/24q9JA2
http://ift.tt/24q9J2P.

So far, six teams around the world have verified that the EM Drive indeed produces a reactionless thrust. These findings have caused much consternation among physicists since reactionless drives by definition produce an action force, without a corresponding reaction force, hence they violate Newton’s third law. Recently, however, many physicists felt a sigh of relief when Michael McCulloch of Plymouth University published a new theory of inertia which purports to explain the reactionless thrust effect on the basis of a quantum physics concept called Unruh radiation which is theorized to be radiated by an accelerating body; see above cited links.

This Unruh radiation theory has made some predictions which are yet to be tested. It was developed specifically to explain the EMDrive anomaly, hence has not ventured to explain any other reactionless thruster technologies. In this posting I wish to propose a theory that should be much easier to understand and that is applicable in general to several reactionless thruster technologies: Townsend Brown’s asymmetrical capacitors, the EMDrive, and the Nassikas thruster. It incorporates two novel concepts that differ from those of standard physics: a) the existence of an ether, b) a new theory of force advanced by the physics methodology of subquantum kinetics which departs from the mechanistic force concepts of the past. With this new concept, a field potential gradient is able to exert a force on the propelled object without itself communicating any back reaction. Let us begin by applying this to Townsend Brown’s asymmetrical capacitor.

Townsend Brown’s Asymmetrical Capacitor Reactionless Thruster
Townsend Brown's electrokinetic thrusters
Fig. 1 Townsend Brown’s electrokinetic thrusters
Figure 1 above shows two versions of Townsend Brown’s electrokinetic thrusters which reportedly were able to lift their entire weight plus a 10% payload when energized with pulsed high voltage DC (100 – 250 kV). Tests conducted under vacuum showed that the thrusters developed the same thrust with a 1000 fold lower current draw, thereby proving that their thrust did not arise from any ion propulsion effect. More about this technology may be found in chapter 3 of the book Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion.

Both of the above reactionless thruster designs may be termed asymmetrical capacitors since one of their electrodes has a larger area than the other. When electrified, an electrostatic field extends between the upper and lower surface of the capacitor. This generated electric field will exert a force on the electric charges in the capacitor plates, pushing the minus charges upward toward the positive electrode and the positive charges downward toward the negative electrode. But since the area of the lower electrode is smaller than that of the upper electrode, the electric potential gradient will be steeper in the vicinity of the lower electrode, because the same amount of charge is confined to a much smaller area. Hence in that region a much stronger force will be exerted per unit charge. While both plates have the same amount of charge, the force pushing the negative charges upward will therefore be much greater than the force pushing the positive charges downward. This force imbalance causes the capacitor as a whole to propel itself upward. In the case where the upper and lower plates have the same area, the potential gradient in the vicinity of each electrode will be the same and the upward and downward forces will balance. In this case the capacitor will experience no net propulsive force, just a compressive force attempting to push the two plates together. This compressive force on charged capacitors is a well-known effect.

Why the asymmetrical capacitor is able to propel itself upward without creating an opposite reaction force may be understood by using the reaction-diffusion system paradigm of subquantum kinetics, which employs a force concept different from that of standard physics. Standard physics espouses the classical force concept in which the force field is the real existent, i.e., a field of vectors extending between the capacitor’s positive and negative electrodes. Quantum mechanics instead regards energy potentials as having a real physical basis, in which case forces could be represented as vectored effects produced on charges due to the presence of local potential gradients. However, when it comes to representing forces, physics has stuck with the classical force field vector concept. Subquantum kinetics, like quantum mechanics, requires that the field potential be the real existent, and identifies it with the concentration of a specific ether species at a particular point in space, e.g., the concentration of G etherons when representing gravity potential or the concentration of X or Y etherons when representing electric potential. According to this subquantum physics, force, or its consequence — particle acceleration, is a response elicited by the destabilizing stress which an electric field potential gradient (an X/Y etheron concentration gradient) would produce on the space structure of a charged subatomic particle. We use the term space structure because particles are not point masses as standard physics conceives, but rather have spatial extension. They emerge as extended dissipative space structures (to use the terminology developed by Ilya Prigogine), or more accurately as “dissipative solitons”. A subatomic particle modeled as a dissipative soliton would consist of a periodic X etheron and Y etheron concentration pattern having a characteristic wavelength, this pattern being both localized as well as radially periodic. It is compatible with Einstein’s concept of particles being “bunched fields”, hence in this case a bunched periodic electric field. The particle would also have a magnetic aspect arising from its intrinsic vortical motion which we will not go into at this point.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, or in this case perhaps a computer simulation is worth a thousand words. By viewing such a simulation one is able to understand that all of the above details are not individual disconnected assumptions, but rather results that stem from the Model G reaction-diffusion system, this being a set of five kinetic equations that form the heart of subquantum kinetics and which may be represented by three partial differential equations. This ether reaction-diffusion recipe is what constitutes the fundamental set of assumptions in subquantum kinetics. An actual computer simulation of this system, which is shown below, spontaneously generates one such above mentioned dissipative soliton. Subquantum kinetics interprets this simulated particle to be the counterpart of a subatomic particle, in this case a particle of neutral charge such as a neutron.

The second simulations below show how such a particle responds to a potential gradient in its environment, in this case a gravity potential gradient, φG (or G etheron concentration gradient), the gradient being seen to cause the particle to move.

We expect that future simulations performed in a 3D space matrix depicting a 1/r field potential declining omnidirectionally from a specific center will cause accelerated motion of dissipative solitons residing in its vicinity.

These simulations are shown here first to point out that these potential gradient effects on particles are derivative from the original assumptions and not ad hoc assumptions added to the theory. Also this ether concentration gradient simulation intends to show that in subquantum kinetics a field gradient causes a subatomic particle (dissipative soliton) to move because this gradient is altering the reaction-diffusion processes that are continually generating the dissipative soliton’s space structure. This in entering the world of subquantum kinetics, we depart from the familiar mechanistic force concepts of classical physics and enter a realm of ether reaction kinetics more akin to phenomena taking place in bio systems and open chemical reaction systems. In studying this you will realize that this movement is reactionless in that no back momentum is imparted to the field that causes this motion. For someone coming out of standard training in physics, this view of fields and engendered “forces” would likely be felt as disorienting and confusing. Indeed, it takes some time for one to change one’s ideas and paramount reality as one reads through this theory set forth in the book Subquantum Kinetics. But in the end it is worth it, at least in the present case, for it allows one to understand how a field can cause an accelerating force without any resulting reaction force.

In the case of the asymmetrical capacitor considered here, the electrostatic force developed on a charged particle would arise as a result of the stress that the electric field’s potential gradient was producing on the reaction-diffusion processes that continually regenerate that particle. It is important to note that, according to subquantum kinetics, this electric field is seated in the ether and is not “mechanically” attached to the particles that generate it. Hence the capacitor as a whole is free to levitate relative to the field that it itself is producing. Since this field follows the capacitor as it levitates, being generated by the charges on its plates, in effect Brown’s capacitor pulls itself up by its own bootstraps.

As to the question of how the charges on the capacitor produce their electric field, this may be understood in terms of etheron sources and sinks. Subquantum kinetics predicts that a positively charged particle should produce an excess of Y-ons relative to its environment and that a negatively charged particle should produce a deficit of Y-ons relative to its environment. This is backed up by simulations conducted on the Brusselator reaction-diffusion system, which is closely related to Model G. As a result, the Y-on concentration will be greater in the vicinity of the capacitor’s positive pole than in the vicinity of its negative pole, resulting in a Y-on concentration gradient (electric field) extending from the positive to negative pole. As a result, Y-ons will be continually diffuse from the capacitor’s positive pole to its negative pole. The point here is that through this surplus/deficit process charges are able to deploy their electric field without that field being mechanically betrothed to those charges. Moreover that field through its unbalanced effect on those charges is able to cause the capacitor to accelerate.

The EMDrive Reactionless Thruster
The EMDrive reactionless thruster, also known as the Cannae Drive, is a radio frequency resonant cavity which consists of a sheet metal enclosure shaped in the form of a frustrated cone that is filled with microwave radiation from a magnetron; see Figure 2 below. The enclosure is found to develop a propulsive force directed towards its larger end.

EMDrive reactionless thruster
Fig. 2 EMDrive reactionless thruster
Why this thruster develops a propulsive force may again be understood in terms of unbalanced forces. The cavity is filled with microwave radiation which bounces around uniformly in all directions. All surfaces are exposed to the same radiation pressure. But due to its larger area, the right end of the thruster will be imparted with a greater force than the left end which has a smaller area. Think of a solar sail. The larger the area of the sail, the greater will be the radiation force that propels it. As a result, of this force imbalance, there will be more force pushing the EMDrive cavity to the right than pushes the cavity to the left. As a result, the cavity as a whole develops a propulsive force to the right.

If we understand that the microwaves in flight within the cavity are essentially electromagnetic waves carried over an ether medium and that they are not physically attached to the cavity itself, then the forces that the waves impart to the cavity walls will be relative to this ether medium, hence relative to the cavity’s instantaneous reference frame. Forces imparted to walls perpendicular to the cavity’s symmetry axis will balance one another resulting in no net sideways propulsion. But those directed on the whole along the cavity’s axis will be unbalanced resulting in a net axial propulsion to the right.

Subquantum kinetics views wave motion more along the lines of Tesla’s sound wave model, except in this case they are longitudinally propagating reaction-diffusion waves of high and low etheron concentration rather than longitudinal propagating compressions and rarefactions of a mechanical ether. In subquantum kinetics these are not propagating vector force field intensities, but rather propagating electrogravitic scalar potentials consisting of an electric potential wave traveling in tandem with a gravity potential wave. Transverse field gradients in this wave, which reflect the wave’s polarization, are able to accelerate charged particles transversely to the wave’s direction of propagation. Such waves would produce forces on the walls of the resonant cavity just as would the electromagnetic force field waves of standard physics.

The Nassikas Superconducting Thruster-I Reactionless Thruster
The Nassikas Thruster-I consists of an YBCO high temperature superconductor casting configured in the form of a nozzle with a permanent magnet placed in its throat; see Figure 3 below.

The Nassikas Superconducting Thruster. 1) Conical high-temperature YBCO superconductor. 3) Permanent magnet 0.5 T.
The Nassikas Superconducting Thruster.
1) Conical high-temperature YBCO superconductor. 3) Permanent magnet 0.5 T.
It is found to develop a propulsive force directed towards its narrow end. Again, this reactionless thrust may be explained in terms of unbalanced forces which the magnetic field produces on the outer surface of the superconductor. This has been explained in some detail in two previous postings:
http://ift.tt/24q9JQg

http://ift.tt/26BUMwO

When cooled below its critical temperature, the superconductor expels magnetic field lines and as a result these magnetic field lines exert a repulsive pressure on the surface of the superconductor called the Meissner effect. The magnetic field within residing within the nozzle is much stronger being close to the magnet’s south pole, whereas the magnetic field adjacent to the outer surface of the nozzle will be much weaker since it is far from either magnetic pole and hence characteristically spread out. As a result, the outward directed repulsive forces within the nozzle’s throat will be greater than the inward directed repulsive forces exerted on the nozzle’s outer surface. Due to the converging geometry of the nozzle, this results in a net force being directed toward the nozzle’s narrow end.

Subquantum kinetics presumes that the magnetic field is an effect of the ether medium, in this case a vortical movement of the ether. It is not mechanically attached to the magnet that produces it. The magnet simply induces its presence in the ether. That is, the aligned spins of the atoms making up the magnet induce a vortical movement in the ether, the magnet’s magnetic field. By analogy, think of a propeller stirring water and causing it to move around in a vortex. The propeller is like the magnet and the water vortex is like the magnetic field in the ether. So this vortical movement, the magnetic field, resides in its own instantaneous reference frame and is able to propel the nozzle relative to this reference frame. This magnetic field cannot be pushed away from the superconductor through any reactive force effect because it is always being stirred up in the same position relative to its magnet propeller, hence a reactionless thrust.

Using the perspective of subquantum kinetics, we here have attempted to explain the reactionless thrust phenomenon observed in three different reactionless thrusters. Hopefully, this has helped to disperse some of the mystery as to why these thrusters work as they do. Once we distance ourselves from some of the moth eaten field concepts of standard physics and consider alternative models, things begin to make more sense. While those moth eaten concepts have been shown to adequately explain many phenomena which obey Newton’s third law, they appear to be inadequate for these other technologies, in particular technologies that will help us get off the surface of our planet. Those not familiar with the subquantum kinetics paradigm are encouraged to read the book Subquantum Kinetics.

Mormons and the Abuse of LGBT Youth

This is a hard read. It goes into considerable detail about just how vie and disgusting the Mormon treatment of LGBT youth really is. The next time someone tries to depict this vile cult ans benign or even benevolent, remember this article.

The Ghost Children of Mormon Country

Quote:

At 15, Quigley was living at the Mill Creek Youth Center, in Ogden, where over the next 18 months she would be raped four times by four different men residing at the state custody facility. When she nearly became victim to a fifth rape, Quigley fought back and injured the assailant. The police were called. Although Quigley had acted in self-defense, she was arrested for assault. Standing before an orthodox Mormon judge, she was tried as an adult with a fourth-degree felony and sentenced to two years at the Weber County Jail, where she would be placed in solitary confinement (called “protective custody,” due to her gender identity), raped an additional 11 times, and assaulted many more times, once ending up in the hospital to get 27 stitches after being stabbed. She attempted suicide by hanging and was in a coma for three days.

Has the UK Labour Party anti-Semitic MPs?

There is a big row in the UK at present about anti-Semitism in the Labour Party. The Muslim MP Naz Sha, before she was an MP posted the following on facebook;

http://ift.tt/1O0oCQ7

So is that anti-Semitic or anti-Israel? I say it is a daft solution never meant to be taken seriously to a serious problem and that is critical of Israeli politics. It makes no mention of Judaism, it is not critical of Jews, it is very much directed at Israel.

Ken Livingstone MP has also run into accusations of anti-semtism when he supported Sha on a radio show where he stated;

"Her remarks were over the top but she’s not anti-Semitic. I’ve been in the Labour Party for 47 years, I’ve never heard anyone say anything anti-Semitic. Let’s remember when Hitler won his election in 1932 his policy then was that Jews should be moved to Israel he was supporting Zionism - before he went mad and ended up killing six million Jews. There’s been a very well-orchestrated campaign by the Israel lobby to smear anybody who criticised Israeli policy as anti-Semitic."

Livingstone's history is poor, for a start there was no Israel in the 1930s. Then the Nazis policy was more about stripping Jews of rights, property and jobs to get them to flee Germany than specific plans to support Zionism. Hitler was mad long before he implemented the mass murder of Jews. But he has not criticised Judaism and he is clearly being critical of Israel.

For me anti-Semtisim is not stupid comments, bad history and criticising Israeli politics. Anti-Semtism is hate speech and racist action against Judaism and Jews, such as graffiti, vandalising graves and encouraging violence. No Labour MP today has done anything like that.

Republican compares Ted Cruz to Lucifer; Satanists object.

On Wednesday former US House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner describes his party's presidential candidate Ted Cruz as "Lucifer in the flesh", saying;
Quote:

I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.
However the Satanic Temple objects to the comparison, a spokesperson said:
Quote:

Cruz’s failures of reason, compassion, decency, and humanity are products of his Christian pandering, if not an actual Christian faith. It grows tedious when pedophile priests and loathsome politicians are conveniently dismissed as Satanic, even as they spew biblical verse and prostrate themselves before the cross, recruiting the Christian faithful. Satanists will have nothing to do with any of them.
Some Republicans agreed, Cruz is notoriously unpopular among his fellow party members. Peter King [Republcan, NY, HoR] said: "Maybe he gives Lucifer a bad name by comparing him to Ted Cruz".

E-cat cold fusion hits the courtroom

I haven't seen an E-Cat thread here in a while, sorry if I missed something.

A few years ago, an American investment firm called "Industrial Heat" (to all appearances a serious endeavor with real peoples' names attached) announced it was investing in Andrea Rossi's nickel fusion claims. Prior to this, all reports of "investors" that I heard of were shadowy Greek or Italian entities which may or may not have existed outside of Rossi's press releases.

Radio silence since then.

ANYWAY:

http://ift.tt/1SxGlDE

According to this Rossi-sympathizing blogger, Rossi is suing this investor. Rossi is shown claiming that the E-Cat has passed numerous tests, that huge sums of money have been exchanged, and that the investor is trying to steal the technology rather than conduct the last test. The investor is quoted saying:

Quote:

“We are aware of the lawsuit filed by Andrea Rossi and Leonardo Corporation against Industrial Heat. Industrial Heat rejects the claims in the suit. They are without merit and we are prepared to vigorously defend ourselves against this action. Industrial Heat has worked for over three years to substantiate the results claimed by Mr. Rossi from the E-Cat technology – all without success.”
Not my circus, not my monkeys.

Phishing idiocy

Somebody in the IT department where I work has lost his mind over phishing possibilities.
Starting about a year ago, we would get email about something silly, like employee awards, or health benefits, or the like. The return address had the company address, and a link. Clicking the link took you to a site that told you you'd been caught in a phishing test and failed
We should always check the headers if the email, it says. But in its infinite wisdom, the IT department has blocked all but administrators from viewing full headers. I got into the habit of clicking every link I could, just to be difficult . I've long ago gotten bored with that and now simply delete 'em
Thus week the scam seems to be "blacked websites" , with a direction to log in at the linked site. Nobody has been quite stupid enough to actually log in, but this was followed by actually very authentic Emil from an actual IT telling us to click an icon on the toolbar, installed by IT ( and to follow the below link if it wasn't there).
In the 5 years I've been working there, the only phishing I've seen was generated by our IT trying to catch people.
Anybody suggest solutions to the suspicions of our IT VP?

Global Homeopathic Pollution Probelm

My new hypothesis.

Homeopathy used to work when Samuel Hahnemann was still alive. However, it soon stopped working because of the greed and short sightedness of homeopathic physicians.

Let me explain. Homeopathy remedies require that a homeopathic substance be diluted in stages. The effective number of dilutions is so big that even one molecule of the original substance in a dose of remedy makes the remedy ineffective.

The substrate of the remedy must contain only the electromagnetic 'memory' of the substance, not any atoms from the substance. Measurable quantities of the substance in solution (solid or liquid solution) make the remedy ineffective.

The solvent is usually chosen to be a tincture (ethanol and water mixture) or lactose (a water soluble sugar). In any case, dilution results in most of the atoms of substance being dissolved in water. A tincture may be diluted 50 times by a factor of ten each time to make a remedy. Only a small fraction of the solution is actually used in the next dilution.

The solution is almost always poured into water. Again, both lactose and tinctures are soluble in water. So no matter where the solution is discarded, it is going to end up in some large body of water.

The liquid water in the world is connected by streams including rivers with the ocean. So the ocean contains lots of remedy. However, even the water in the ocean is not enough to dilute remedy to potentiate the remedy. The fresh waters of the world are not enough to potentiate the remedy. So any liquid water connected to any other liquid water that has been used by a homeopathic manufacturer is loaded with unpotentiated remedy.

Each dilution must be accompanied by succussion, meaning that the solution is subject to vibrations that activate the 'electromagnetic memory'. However, succussion is needed at every dlution. The discarded remedy that enters a water supply is not succussed.

So the water is not potentiated when it enters spreads out over the world. So none of it is effective remedy. Yet, the concentration of substance in the water of the world is so high that potentiation with it is impossible. If you add the substance to the water, you merely raise the concentration of substance higher than the threshold for potentiation.

Most of the fresh water in the world is near homeopathic physicians making homeopathic remedy. So most fresh water is down stream from some homeopathic physician making the newly manufactured remedy useless.

There is some relief given the hypothesis that water vapor doesn't carry homeopathic remedy. So rain water is probably pure enough to make homeopathic remedies. Also the water that is coming from high in the mountains which has just been condensed from water vapor. Maybe distilled water is free of homeopathic memory. However, that excludes all tap water and most water from rivers and lakes. For the most part, natural water can no longer be potentiated.

That greedy shyster, Samuel Hahnemann, must have been smart enough to know that his discarded water would contaminate all the homeopathic remedies in Europe.

Did he stop, reserving his cure for the most ill? Did he even warn people that they were using up their unpotentiated water? Did he include protocols in his method to keep aquifers isolated from homeopathic run off.

No, Samuel Hahnemann spoiled the pristine aquifers with unregulated and uncontrolled potentiation. In pursuit of the quick buck, he compromised the wellness of future generations for the sake of a quick buck! He even avoided controlled experiments so no one would detect the pollution of unpotentiated water.

Almost all the aquifers in the world have been despoiled except for a few glaciers. Homeopathic remedies from glacier water is being hoarded by the rich and powerful, who secretly know the effectiveness of these homeopathic remedies. Soon, the glaciers themselves will soon be gone!

Am am making homeopathic remedies from the last remaining glacial water. It will soon be hitting the all night grocery stores from Mexico to Canada. You will recognize my brand when you see it, but I can't tell you the brand name now. Please protect your family. Stock up on glacial homeopathic remedies now before it is too late!:jaw-dropp

Oklahoma court: oral sex is not rape if [passed out drunk]

(My apologies if this has been posted already and I missed it.)

Oklahoma court: oral sex is not rape if victim is unconscious from drinking

Quote:

But the trial judge dismissed the case. And the appeals court ruling, on 24 March, affirmed that prosecutors could not apply the law to a victim who was incapacitated by alcohol.

“Forcible sodomy cannot occur where a victim is so intoxicated as to be completely unconscious at the time of the sexual act of oral copulation,” the decision read. Its reasoning, the court said, was that the statute listed several circumstances that constitute force, and yet was silent on incapacitation due to the victim drinking alcohol. “We will not, in order to justify prosecution of a person for an offense, enlarge a statute beyond the fair meaning of its language.”

Not sure if bad, late April Fool's joke...

eta:
Quote:

“There was absolutely no evidence of force or him doing anything to make this girl give him oral sex,” McMurray said, “other than she was too intoxicated to consent.”

More smart gun tech stuff.

http://ift.tt/1STd4FE

Quote:

President Barack Obama is opening a new front in the gun control debate, readying a big push for so-called smart gun technology — an initiative that the gun lobby and law enforcement rank and file is already mobilizing against.

“Police officers in general, federal officers in particular, shouldn’t be asked to be the guinea pigs in evaluating a firearm that nobody’s even seen yet,” said James Pasco, executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police. “We have some very, very serious questions.”
The police don't need to be the guinea pigs. Industry has had years to refine the technology and bring it to market. Unfortunately various anti-gun politicians have been promoting various bills and laws that were roadblocks and did nothing to actually encourage the typical gun owner to adopt the new technology.

Quote:

Entrepreneurs and researchers who’ve worked on smart guns say that government will have to take the lead on creating a viable market and showing the guns work when police and military use them — “not the bully pulpit, but the buying power of these public agencies,” as Don Sebastian of the New Jersey Institute for Technology put it in an interview.
Gee, I wonder why no one thought of that before?

Quote:

In 2002, a New Jersey law required that all gun shops sell only personalized guns within three years of a proven product hitting the market. To avoid triggering New Jersey’s countdown, gun rights activists pressured retailers not to sell any version, even harassing stores in California and Maryland that tried to sell one.
This is why. Why anyone thought the NJ law was supposed to encourage smart gun tech when all it did was convince people to oppose it is a mystery to me. Even after it become obvious to the bill prime sponsor she dragged her feet on amending the statute.

Quote:

Recognizing the unintended consequence, New Jersey Democrats tried to loosen up the rule recently, requiring New Jersey retailers to simply include a smart gun in their stock once a version is on the market, but Republican Gov. Chris Christie, in the thick of his presidential bid, killed it with a pocket veto in January.
When she finally got off her ass to amend the law, Christie steps in with a bonehead veto.

US Republicans seek clemency for serial child abuser

Dennis Hastert, former Republican congressman, speaker of the House of Representatives and sexual abuser of multiple boys, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison, followed by supervised release and mandated sex offender treatment program.

Hastert (74) has admitted, publicly for the first time, he sexually molested male athletes (aged 14 to 17) when coaching a wrestling team at Illinois' Yorkville High School in the 1970s.
Unfortunately he cannot be prosecuted for that abuse due to the length of time that has passed, somewhat ironic given his past support for life sentences for repeat child abusers. He was convicted for matters relating to an attempt to pay-off one of his accusers and lying to a Federal investigation. At the time Hastert accused the person whom he was paying off of making false allegations of sexual abuse.

The sentencing hearing had numerous letters submitted by other politicians including John Doolittle (Republican), David Dreier (Republican), Thomas Ewing (Republican), Porter Goss (Republican), Tyrone Fahner (Republican) and Doris Karpiel (Republican). Possibly the most nauseating was the contribution by Tom DeLay (Republican) who said of Hastert:
Quote:

He is a good man that loves the Lord. He doesn't deserve what he is going through.
DeLay did not say whether the boys molested by Hastert "deserved" what they went through.
Doolittle, Dreier, Goss and Thomas are law-and-order Republicans. And gross hypocrites.

The truss straps

The truss straps should have been covered with concrete.

Can anyone explain why the truss straps would still be hanging from the walls where the lobby ceiling trusses were attached? Notice how they are also hanging from the level which should have been the ceiling to the first mechanical floor:

When zooming in to the lobby ceiling material it can be seen that no concrete was poured, which can also be said of the floors above it.

For the mechanical floors there were open air walkways, hence the cladding wrapping all around the columns at that level.

So what can explain the truss straps still being there when the trusses they were attached to are nowhere to be seen?

Also notice how above the first mechanical level there is no sign of any floor material on the spandrels - no truss straps, nothing, not even any interior finishes are visible all the way down to the lobby floor. Had there been real floors installed at the time of destruction there should be some evidence of them just as there is evidence of lobby ceiling material.

[Ed] Criminalisation of Monsanto Progressing Nicely

The EU has been obliged to suspend renewing a 15 year licence to the makers of GMO Glyphosate .Essentially Monsanto's herbicide Round - Up Several countries including France , Holland and Italy objected in light of further evidence linking the products with Cancer inducing properties and the refusal by manufacturer Monsanto to provide full product make- up details .

Professor Seralini’s research group at Caen University completed the world’s first feeding study of the effect on more than 200 rats of a diet of GMO corn over a period of a full two years . The study found alarming instances of cancer tumors, severe organ damage and premature death in rats fed GMO corn treated with Monsanto Roundup with Glyphosate.
The Seralini study was published after a four-month peer-review process by scientifically qualified colleagues and two years of research in absolute secrecy to avoid industry pressure. Within hours of the public release of the Seralini study, a coordinated global media campaign to discredit the conclusions was launched. No facts were presented, merely typical allegations that the study was “unscientific,” or that the wrong rats were used.More recently courts found completely in Seralini's favour .
Further , a recent German study revealed alarming concentrations of glyphosate in a majority of the population there. An alarming three-quarters of the German population have been contaminated by glyphosate according to a study done by the Heinrich Böll Foundation. The report analyzed glyphosate residue in urine and it concluded that, “75% of the target group displayed levels that were five times higher than the legal limit of drinking water. A third of the population even showed levels that were between ten and 42 times higher than what is normally permissible.”
Monsanto and others need pursuing to finally lay the Rockefeller Foundation Genetic Manipulation project to where it deserves -- dead and buried , with appropriate persons gaoled for life . They have surely already killed in abundance .

Fake pankillers kill fourteen in California

A CDC study had linked 14 recent deaths in California to illicitly purchased prescription drugs.
Hospitals in the Bay Area have recently treated at least seven patients who overdosed after taking pills of what they thought was Norco (a moderately strong opioid painkiller) but actually contained the far more powerful fentanyl. These people survived, but 12 others in Sacramento County and two in Yolo County didn't.

Medical Treatment--Is it True?

Hello,

I just read it and is quite shocking to me.

Quote:

Even more significantly, the medical system has played a large role in undermining the health of Americans. According to several research studies in the last decade, a total of 225,000 Americans per year have died as a result of their medical treatments:
12,000 deaths per year due to unnecessary surgery
• 7000 deaths per year due to medication errors in hospitals

• 20,000 deaths per year due to other errors in hospitals

• 80,000 deaths per year due to infections in hospitals

• 106,000 deaths per year due to negative effects of drugs

Thus, America's healthcare-system-induced deaths are the third leading cause of the death in the U.S., after heart disease and cancer.http://ift.tt/x7x28S
Is it reality or just fake claim?

Chris Colabello- Is it possible he didn't purposely take a banned steroid?

Ok. I'm coming here because I don't know enough about steroid testing.

Chris Colabello. A player for my team, the Toronto Blue Jays tested positive for a banned substance, drochlormethyltestosterone, more commonly called DHCMT or turinabol.

He denies he ever took anything. They all do. Here he is an interview he did recently denying any knowledge of taking the banned substance.
http://ift.tt/1WoZIjJ

He had every reason to try and cheat. He was an aging player just hanging on in the minors when he had kind of a break out season last year. He had every motivation to cheat and almost noting to lose.

I personally would not be surprised if there were 5 bluejays right now taking banned substances. Bautista having always been the prime suspect. Would not surprise me at all.

But here is the thing. I believe him. He believe he never knowingly took a banned substance. I believe him when he says he only took supplements that were pre-approved by his team. I believe him when he says he was super careful about everything that went into his body.

So I guess I'm making this thread because I know there are some brilliant minds in this thread. I want help in making the case he never took a banned substance. Where could the testing have gone wrong? What could he have taken, other then the the steroids that would give him that result? Could it be lab contamination?

Maybe I'm grasping at straws here. But I honestly think he is innocent.

Can humanistic pseudo-religion replace God based religion?

The signature line of Angrysoba is:
Quote:

"The thief and the murderer follow nature just as much as the philanthropist. Cosmic evolution may teach us how the good and the evil tendencies of man may have come about; but, in itself, it is incompetent to furnish any better reason why what we call good is preferable to what we call evil than we had before."

"Evolution and Ethics" T.H. Huxley (1893)

This thought struck me (in another thread):

Good is what is good for society. Constructive versus destructive. Civil and criminal laws are not enough. Training while young is needed. That is the task of religion. Would people accept a pseudo-religion that had no God but had a strong set of morals? Would those morals be effective if the morals had no "cosmic judgment" (ie God)? Could atheists found such a pseudo-religion? Would it catch on?

Can Humanism take the place of religion? Is it not too vague and wishy washy? If religion is abolished, will humanism lead us to extinction?

An example: If scientists are humanists that believe man is moist robot with no soul, then it seems to follow that there is no moral inhibition to replacing man with metal/silicon artificial intelligence. If scientists do this before they have solved “the hard problem” of consciousness, this might be an experiment doomed to failure.

Another example: Geneticists tinkering with Lifecode and it gets out of hand.
Quote:

http://ift.tt/1pzUlBj
We're beginning to practice intelligent design. That means that instead of doing this at random and seeing what happens over generations, we're inserting specific genes, we're inserting specific proteins, and we're changing lifecode for very deliberate purposes. And that allows us to accelerate how this stuff happens.

And a third example:
Businessmen who have no reluctance to engage in practices that could destroy society as long as it makes them rich. Bankers specifically. And armament manufacturers.

That’s more than any other known address in the world, and 15 times more than the 18,000 registered in Ugland House, a five-storey building in the Cayman Islands that Barack Obama called “either the biggest building in the world, or the biggest tax scam on record”.

Is 2016 the start of the big die-off?

Is 2016 the start of the big die-off? I think it might be. Is God involved? If he exists, he would have to be.

This article gives celebrity stats, and attempts an explanation.

It is too soon to get a general trend in the overall numbers globally, but are we beginning to experience an underlying “silent” virus that is weakening immune systems and accelerating “normal” causes of deaths? Or is toxic overload catching up with mankind?

Why so many celebrities have died in 2016
22 April 2016

It now seems rare for a week to pass without a significant celebrity death being reported - from David Bowie in the second week of January, to actor Alan Rickman a week later, to comedian Victoria Wood and Prince this week.

"Enough, 2016" and a more vulgar alternative are phrases people are uttering more and more regularly. So is this wave of celebrity deaths the new normal?
The answer is yes, according to the BBC's obituary editor Nick Serpell, who ought to know about such things.

…It's a jump from only five between January and late March 2012 to a staggering 24 in the same period this year - an almost five-fold increase, according to research by the BBC Radio 4's More or Less programme.

…This all invites the question: why?
There are a few reasons, Nick Serpell says.
"People who started becoming famous in the 1960s are now entering their 70s and are starting to die," he says.

"There are also more famous people than there used to be," he says. "In my father or grandfather's generation, the only famous people really were from cinema - there was no television.

These reasons only explain the genral trend, not the sudden jump in from 12 (2015) to 24 (2016). I could just be a bad year (an anomaly), or the start of something really bad.

Huge cities, artificial structures on Venus captured by NASA’s Magellan Probe
The Magellan probe sent to Venus that operated in the late 80s and 90s, collected an enormous amount of images that have finally been published by NASA in which huge cities, artificial structures and all kinds of elements that seem to obey constructions appear intelligent effected by some kind of alien race that inhabited or colonized the second planet in our solar system.END QUOTE

Cruz and Kasich team up to stop Trump

They're basically dividing up the remaining primaries to give them a better chance of getting more delegates than The Donald. I've a suspicion this may be counterproductive, but I'm no Nate Silver.

Politico story.

Trump's not happy:

ETA: One thing I've been continually surprised by in this election is the vast number of people, including Trump, who seem unaware that choosing convention delegates by popular vote in primaries is a pretty new thing, mostly in the past 50 years. Before that it was all smoke-filled rooms and party bosses.

Was there a coup plotted plot against Harold Wilson?

As there doesn't seem to be much debate in this section above the level of wingnuttery I though I'd try and start one. A reasoned debate I hope.

Was there a serious plot to oust British Prime Minister Harold Wilson in the 1970s by force?

There's an awful lot of controversy about the allegations of a military coup being planned against Harold Wilson in 1974. At the very least some people with military/intelligence connections were talking about actions being needed to deal with the perceived problems; IRA terrorism, industrial unrest and the power of the unions, fears that Wilson himself was a Soviet agent, loss of the last Imperial outposts, the collapse of 'traditional' institutions, economic woes (rising inflation for example), high taxation.

There was talk by some (former Major Alexander Greenwood for example) of creating private paramilitary organisations, discussions that (as Brian Crozier put it) "seriously considered the possibility of a military takeover".

Then there was the extraordinary military operation at Heathrow airport in January 1974, officially a routine exercise intended to test defenses against IRA attack, but about which Wilson and his cabinet were never informed.

There were various right-wing "action groups", such as David Stirling's GB75 and Walter Walker's Civil Assistance, which historically never amounted to much. Stirling wrote to the Conservative Member of Parliament Airey Neave in October 1974, saying that he had formed an organisation of about five hundred "men of such calibre that they would be part of the resistance, should the circumstances require it". Neave was known to muse that the organisation could be used to maintain order in the event of a general strike.

Though, as Reggie Perrin put it:
Quote:

You realise the sort of people you're going to attract, don't you, Jimmy? Thugs, bully-boys, psychopaths, sacked policemen, security guards, sacked security guards, racialists, Paki-bashers, queer-bashers, Chink-bashers, anybody-bashers, rear Admirals, queer admirals, Vice Admirals, fascists, neo-fascists, crypto-fascists, loyalists, neo-loyalists, crypto-loyalists.
