Baby dies of cardiac arrest following baptism in Romania

Forgive me already posted and feel free to move to religion if more appropriate, but I am assuming this probably isn't a one off with this stupid archaic practice.

What does it take to get them to go "Ahh. Yeah. That probably is a dumb idea. Let's just splash a bit of water on their forehead, if we have to do it."
