Many computers ago I had a "program" called "Music Maker 2005," with which I merrily whiled away many afternoons creating vile techno pastiche pieces of "music" in order to annoy my friends and relatives.
My question to the forum is: Is there a current free (or nearly) version of this type of thing available (strictly legal, of course)?
Is there more than one? If so, which is the best?
