The question "Why can't the GOP (usually on this board it seems) exclude whack jobs/Nazis/etc from running for the GOP" comes up quite a bit. It's been repeated that "they can't" but I've never seen the laws regarding this. Minnesota is new to the primary system and the GOP there has submitted ballots that exclude everyone but Trump and facing legal action over that. So we can see how this plays out.
