Tell me about KardiaMobile

There have been a lot of TV commercials recently promoting KardiaMobile, a gadget that apparently lets you conduct your own EKG by finger touch. Does it work? Would it tell me anything I need to know? Do EKG results change frequently enough to require regular monitoring, like blood pressure? Or is this just snake oil?
