I've looked at the directions on the Microsoft website and several videos I haven't found anything about this. It's probably more simple than I think.
The way I created this list was Data tab > Data Validation > selected 'List' from Allow and typed out these values.
When I select an item from a drop down list like this, I want a numeric value attached to it; so when iron is selected from this list, I want it to be 7.87 g/cm3 so that I can input into a formula that takes item density.
How can I assign this value to the word "iron"?
