Like many of you, I am recently getting mysterious text messages of politics. I don't care to read them. But if I don't, it shows up as a little 1 for unread on my phone icon for messages.
That's irritating enough, but if I click on it to "read" it to make the 1 go away, is there a read acknowledgment that goes back to the sender? Because I sure as hell don't want them adding my number to a list of people who might be interested, thus causing even more spam.
