The mayor of Atlanta Georgia has issued an executive order to close all bars, nightclubs, social clubs, gyms, fitness centers, bowling alleys, movie theaters, and arcades, exempting only those facilities that have takeout or delivery of food. I’m assuming that drive-thru can be interpreted as takeout .
Of course there are many other city suburbs of Atlanta that are not under this directive, but should they fall in line, my first thought is “where do the truckers who bring us this food eat?” Will the 18 wheeler guys be allowed to walk up to the drive-thru window?
Aside from all of the workers affected by this order, I’m sure there are other issues that haven’t gone through my mind yet.
