Around 2002, my friend, Robert Lancaster, urged me to join JREF. I had met Robert when I was a poster on a John Edward site. (Yeah, I know). Robert never criticized me, but had a feeling that this forum could help change my way of thinking. And, he was right.
Did anyone else come here while they still were hanging on to some archaic belief system? What about the forum changed your belief system?
For me, it was the constant and consistent reason, the rational reminders, the scientific facts. To the best of my memory, I was not shamed, but I was educated. Anyone else?
