My macbookpro died and I need to buy a new one. I would ideally, not want to spend more than 2000 dollars. I found this one for $1800 which is not bad. That said, I wonder if anyone here know of another place other than the Mac store where one can buy a macbookpro for a good price.
Also, I'm open to hear recommendations as to which type of mac to buy. I really only use two programs: Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro, and while I'm aware that these programs generate heavy files, I tend to save those on external hard drives, so theoretically I shouldn't be needing a computer with lots and lots of memory space.
