This isn't a usually paranormal claim, but I ran into someone that stages in her family watch batteries drain very quickly
With her mother draining batteries in a day and herself within a few days.
I checked online and saw a few posts in a watch makers forum talking about similar rare occurrences with customers.
It sounds similarish to some claims I've seen in the past, and makes wonder if there's anything to read up on it.
