In a nutshell - Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom are considering forming a union of countries much like the EU to facilitate trade and travel. On the surface, this seems to me like a pretty good idea. But then I see who it is that's supporting this idea - particularly Boris Johnson, Tony Abbott and Eric Abetz, who I believe to be among the most odious of conservative politicians, and I have my doubts.
Any thoughts?
