Apple has cracked the ARM as a power cpu barrier

The new M1 Apple CPUs are very good according to the reviews, and performing as well as a good or better than premium Intel Desktop CPUs. At the same time they use a fraction of the power.

They are made using 5nm technology. For some reason Intel has been very slow to get below 10nm. That means massive power savings and cost savings.

The emulation mode for x86 software is able to run software as fast you need.

The new Mac mini desktop format product is remarkeably cheap for an Apple product.

ARM CPUs have been on the edge of this performance level for a few years now but now they can crush Intel.
