A guy in Florida decided to chase and stab a guy to death.
Another guy shoots a person wielding a dog-leash in front of his car at a Taco Bell drive-thru.
And that's just a couple of examples of how SYG allows people to take the law into their own hands.

I was informed of the first example because the killer in Florida was arrested on 2nd degree murder by police on the show "The First 48." They established that the guy did chase the thief down and stabbed the guy to death. For SYG to be used to get the case thrown out shows how ridiculous that law is.
