CPR

I was forwarded this instructional video about how to perform CPR. Presumably to raise interest, the video uses Vinnie Jones who is famous for once being in a football team and in some films trading on his "hard man" image.



But one thing that I was surprised to hear in the video is that CPR should be performed as "hands only" without mouth-to-mouth. Has mouth-to-mouth been discredited or is "hands only" considered more effective for people who otherwise wouldn't know what to do?
