RNC Chair Reince [sic] Priebus [sic] wrote a letter last week to NBC and CNN threatening a boycott of their primary debates if either network followed through on plans to air a mini-series or produce a documentary. Critics argued there's a "firewall" between NBC's entertainment and news divisions, so it wouldn't make sense to punish either MSNBC or CNBC for their sister network's programming. Priebus ain't buyin' it.
In a twist of fate, it turns out Fox is negotiations to produce the Hillary Clinton mini-series for NBC. Candy Crowley asked Reince if the RNC planned on boycotting Fox News (youtube clip below). Turns out that what matters is who airs the mini-series (that he hasn't seen), not who produces it. Boycotting Fox would be "totally ridiculous and stupid."
He's a terrible Republican spokeshole, even worse than the gay guy or the black man.
