the real expedients and hedonists are the good and virtuous people

The good are selfish beings in pursuit of their permanent, real and eternal interests. in this world, while avoiding evil, they also avoid disasters/sadness, especially remorse of conscience, and are blessed with the pleasure of their good deeds, worship and virtuous life. Even the sacrifices they make in this world provide them with immediate spiritual pleasure, as well as individual and social material pleasure in the long run. they are in ease and beauty (in total).

On the other hand, the wicked and perverted oppressors are the ultimate sacrifices (in total), destroying and destroying their own lives and the lives of those around them in this world and the hereafter. they have made a mess of their lives, their trials, everything and said goodbye. they are the eternal losers in torment, both material and spiritual...therefore they are mindless.

The Qur'an "shows what are the 'real interests' of human beings" and "shows the means by which these interests can be achieved, the means by which lasting salvation can be attained. "

Some of the commands and prohibitions that seem like sacrifices are actually desires that in the long run provide pleasure and benefit both in this world and in the hereafter.

Those who play chess know well that you can bait a queen and checkmate your opponent after a few moves. Taking that queen may seem like a win for the opponent at the time, but after a few moves it will turn into a great misery for him.

The Qur'an warns people against such traps, and shows them how to make"checkmate", that is, to gain the ultimate victory and avoid suffering.

3:117 The example of what they spend in this world is like a wind in which there is a frost; it afflicts the field of the people who wronged themselves, and thus destroys it. God did not wrong them, but it was themselves that they wronged.

2:265 The example of those who spend their money seeking God's grace, and to save themselves, is like the example of a garden on a high ground which is subjected to a heavy rain, and because of that it produces double its crop! If no heavy rain comes, then light rain is enough. God is Seer over all you do.
