"It's time we ban assault weapons in this country."
I cannot see the point in a policy that will be impossible to enact. It would require
- the virtual ending of the manufacture of many weapons, which will be resisted by the manufacturers.
- the seizure of millions of weapons from people who will resist, possibly resulting in more deaths than are likely to be saved.
- a huge amount of resources to police & control those firearms.
Biden may as well demand that the tide stops coming in.
