Well, well, well...IICSA's (Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse) latest report makes pretty horrifying, but not terribly surprising to those of us who worked around abused bairns, reading:

Tl;dr: pretty much every religious group in the UK is/was chuffing useless at child protection and are rank hypocrites in their ostensible positions being far from the reality of what they do/did and they show little sign of changing their behaviours (reminder - they have all had since 1989, when the Children Act was passed, to do something about it, but haven't, even though everyone was given 2 years before the Act came into force in 1991 to sort their **** out).
