Milo Yiannopoulos banned from furry convention

After recently complaining about his fall from relevance and lack of access to social platforms with enough actually-donating fans to "pay his bills", Milo Yiannopoulos has apparently been trying to reinvent himself, but not really, in an attempt to make a comeback. His latest attempt involved commissioning artwork of a "furry" representation of himself - known in furry fandom as a "fursona" - and publicly announcing his registration for an upcoming furry fan convention in Illinois, called "Midwest FurFest". Which evidently is a rather large convention for such a niche interest; according to WP it drew over 10,000 attendees last year.

However his announcement drew a community outcry and as a result, the convention has cancelled his registration and barred him from this and future events:

Yiannopoulos has reportedly responded by threatening to access the convention anyway using hotel rooms booked in others' names, and to "bring friends".
