I heard a comment yesterday about how we landed on the moon in July of 69, just months before JFK's goal.
Here's my question: what would have happened if the Apollo 1 accident hadn't occurred? Would they have gotten to the moon on an earlier mission? Even if not, would it still have been July 69?
