The Moomins - nine decades of fun, Finland, lesbianism and Kant.

I don't know how many of you know The Moomins, a strange extended family of cartoon Finnish trolls (the good kind), but this BBC story reminded me of them and I was fascinated by something of my childhood (the TV adaption) that I'd forgotten about.

I was unaware that the characters' creator, Tove Jansson, was gay, that this formed part of the series' them or that Kant partially inspired the trolls.



Anyone else remember them?
