Swedish journalist murdered in Kabul

This morning, at shortly after 11 local time, the Swedish veteran journalist Nils Horner was gunned down on a street in Kabul allegedly by two unknown gunmen. According to witnesses, the two were dressed in "western clothes" as they walked up to Horner and shot him in the head, before fleeing the scene. No motive has been ascertained, and the Taliban denies any involvment. Supposedly, the local police are holding two suspects for the killing.
