Hot Runners Pictures

The Huffington Post ran an 'article' (really just a blurb and repost of this woman's Instagram pictures) of a woman who, while running a half marathon decided to distract herself and have some fun by taking and posting pictures of a 'hot guy' or 'cutie' every mile. Now, she obviously didn't mean harm by it and it's not in and of itself a big deal. It is however kinda creepy and wrong to post of pictures of random guys about their 'hotness'.

Now if this had been a guy doing it, there probably would have been a rightful calling out of the reasons this is wrong to do. And there has been here as well. Some over-stated, but most just pointing out the double standard.

What struck me was all the, in my view, very poor arguments defending the double standard. 'It's alright because women go through more,' is the two wrongs make a right silliness. 'It's just harmless fun!' is an excuse that men judging and ogling 'hot' women use. The list goes on.

So what do you think? Is it wrong to criticize this woman or the Huffington post? Is this not a double standard? Would this be acceptable for a man to do?
