Effects of a nuclear strike on Germany in WW2

Let's say D-Day was a bust for whatever reason (Germans prepared for it, bad weather etc.), and by August 1945, the US launches nuclear strikes on Berlin and Munich, killing hitler and ending the war.



How does that affect the post-ww2 setup?
