Okay, near bottom of sheet of paper, draw a horizontal line from left side of paper to within 1/4 inch of center. Now draw an opposing such line from right to left, stopping within 1/2 inch of the other line. You now have a straight line with a 1/2 inch gap in the middle. Now, start up again by putting your pen on the left line near center where you left off. Now continue the line straight uP to the top of the page..then back down again until your pen meets the left side of the right horizontal line segment. Now stare at your drawing.
