E-cat cold fusion hits the courtroom

I haven't seen an E-Cat thread here in a while, sorry if I missed something.

A few years ago, an American investment firm called "Industrial Heat" (to all appearances a serious endeavor with real peoples' names attached) announced it was investing in Andrea Rossi's nickel fusion claims. Prior to this, all reports of "investors" that I heard of were shadowy Greek or Italian entities which may or may not have existed outside of Rossi's press releases.

Radio silence since then.

ANYWAY:

According to this Rossi-sympathizing blogger, Rossi is suing this investor. Rossi is shown claiming that the E-Cat has passed numerous tests, that huge sums of money have been exchanged, and that the investor is trying to steal the technology rather than conduct the last test. The investor is quoted saying:

Quote:

“We are aware of the lawsuit filed by Andrea Rossi and Leonardo Corporation against Industrial Heat. Industrial Heat rejects the claims in the suit. They are without merit and we are prepared to vigorously defend ourselves against this action. Industrial Heat has worked for over three years to substantiate the results claimed by Mr. Rossi from the E-Cat technology – all without success.”
Not my circus, not my monkeys.
