I am not looking in this thread to talk about the merits of Republican economic policy because there are plenty of threads already discussing this.
However, will this change be a successful strategy and will republicans be able to sell this to what has been a traditional base of the Demographic party?
In my opinion the answer is "no". I think it is a very difficult argument to make with someone making minimum wage that they will ultimately be helped by lowering taxes on the wealthy regardless of how many facts you have to support your proprosals.
