Removing adobe creative suite 3

I've recently bought a subscription to adobe creative cloud for my wife so she can work with the newest versions.

However, upon installing it on her computer which had older versions of photoshop ed installed the program freezes the moment it starts because it tries to do something with the older programs.

I have not been able to find a way to turn off that attempt, so I figured I'd just remove the older programs.

That's turned out to be a LOT harder than I figured.



I've gotten rid of most, but not adobe creative suite 3.

Hitting the normal remove program/uninstall in windows 7 does nothing at all. The computer tries to do something and then stops but does not remove the program.

All 'remove CS3' programs I've been able to find claim it doesnt exist on her computer.

Perfect Uninstall crashes when I try to get it to move

Manually removing the folder and clearing the registry still has not been enough. Windows still thinks the program exists.



I'm personally out of options bar a complete re-install of windows and that is not something I enjoy doing. Does anyone here have any suggestions or experience with this?
