For some time now Dr Oz has dabbled in woo and I've been dismissive of his show.
Today I walked into the breakroom at work and his show was on. His guest today was Mike Adams and the lower third proclaimed in big scary text "Dr Oz Health Alert: The poisons hidden in your food"
He was treating him as a legitimate expert on food and diet.
Dr. Oz has crossed the final line for any possible credibility I may have afforded him.
The little bit of conversation I could stand to stomach before leaving the room was the standard BS "My wife raves about you but the medical establishment hates you, why is that?"
OZ was completely credulous of every word out of Adams mouth and didn't raise a single concern or opposing viewpoint.
Too many people are accepting of anything OZ says or promotes and now Adam has a credibility bump an name recognition from millions of viewers.
It just really disgusts me.
