The special commission released its report publicly today (documents available here) regarding its findings as to the human rights situation in DPRK as related by over 200 refugees, former prison camp guards, and other witnesses. Among its conclusions, the report directly calls upon the Security Council to forward the matter to the ICC.
During a public question/answer session today, the commissioners have expressed their opinion that the situation demands positive and decisive action, and that their report has provided the necessary information for the international community to make those decisions.
