So for the last 30 years, people have been sold the idea that trickle down theory is the solution to the woes of society. Looking back over 30 years, I'd say most Americans would agree that this scheme was a farce. Any economic system which is based on sharing and the generosity of one group is a farce. Hence the title, communism relied on the goodness of all people to share. People not only didn't share, but an elect group of plutocrats took all the wealth. So why do we rely on the "goodness" of the rich in America to help make things right? It is not in human nature to share. Why is it so hard for some Americans to let go of this stupid supply side economic mindset?
Just a serious question. I can't wrap my mind around why I should support trickle down economics when it has proven to largely be a failure which has resulted in wage stagnation and decreased discretionary spending for most Americans.
