Guys I'm In the first stage of planning a trip to Rome. I know this isn't history as such, bit I'm such a history buff, and while I know a little roman history, I'm well aware of how little I DO know... So my first question is, what lighter weight roman histories can you recommend...
Where is a good central location in Rome....
what does and don'ts ca you recommend..
I suspect I will find I know more than I think, as when hearing of famous events I find myself thinking, oh yes, Domitian was murdered, as he'd become totally paranoid etc.
thanks guys getting excited thinking about it.
I know this is a misquote, but see Rome and die!!!
