The TL:DR version...
Will wearing glasses with one tinted lens and one clear lens result in you perceiving a wider dynamic range of vision?
The Backstory...
I ride a bicycle in an area where the path regularly goes from bright sunlight to short sections of dark shade, and when I wear conventional sunglasses I can't see in the shaded sections.
Yesterday I bought new sunglasses that have several sets of lenses, so it got me wondering whether a dark lens and lighter or clear lens would solve the problem - or would it just give me a headache?
