Of course, the title of this thread is fictional, but I am wondering if anyone here has any thoughts on what they think would have happened in 1930s Germany if there were revelations of fraud occurring in the Nazi party's report on the Reichstag fire.
Would they have just stonewalled those questioning the report?
Would they have tried to suppress the information?
Would they say it was just an honest mistake and try to stick to their original premise of who did it and why?
Or would they admit that there were some in their ranks who were willing to try to deceive and dismiss them and perhaps indict and try them?
