Why aren't JREF'ers annoyed over revelations of impropriety in the NIST WTC 7 report

I have recently made some posts in another thread about the recent revelations of impropriety in the NIST WTC 7 report contained in the William Pepper letter to the Department of Commerce Inspector General.

I have to say I am stunned that some JREF regulars are not at least annoyed, if not outraged, that this impropriety occurred. I would feel like I was taken for a ride. That is because this says that the call for a new investigation, by those who have been skeptical of the NIST WTC 7 report, has been in order all along, and many JREF'ers have prodigiously defended the report. It is kind of like getting egg on your face due to being duped by another.

I live in New Jersey and voted for Governor Chris Christie. However, I am personally annoyed at the fact that his staff conspired to break the law, for a political payback for a lack of endorsement by the Fort Lee, NJ mayor, by snarling traffic in Fort Lee, NJ for days by closing lanes on the George Washington Bridge. In that case, Christie does not deny that his staff did it, just that he did not know about it. He personally fired the staffers who were involved and they are being investigated and will surely be indicted and prosecuted.
