Is Fibromyalgia Real?

Friends,



My late mother was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.



At least back then, there was no definitive test for it. It was a diagnosis usually arrived at by process of elimination.



Now my sister has many of the same symptoms and she asked me if Fibromyalgia was a legitimate disease or some sort of Woo Grab-Bag.



I assured her that if anyone had a good Idea, y'all would...



Yet a search shows nothing on the topic.
