The Rio Paralmypic medal table is quite different from the able bodied one. China are way out at the top, the UK is in a strong second place with Ukraine third. Ukraine are at war, yet they have still enabled many disabled Ukrainians to travel to and compete at the highest levels of sport.
The USA is way down on its Olympic medal tally, as are Germany, France and Italy. Japan are 56th.
That surly must be an indication of how well countries are at enabling those who are disabled and the countries who are not as caring.
