I'm beginning to sense a new wave of separationism rearing it's head in the West.
And where calls for separation aren't being heard, there seems to be a strong upswell of support for takeover schemes (US since 2010) where groups claiming to be disaffected are successfully managing to take and hold power (often even when the narrow majority DON'T support them).
Have the naked power displays of recent years finally mobilized a strong "throw it all away" consensus that the tricks of the "establishment" can't control any longer?
