When I heard a chain restaurant was in deep dog poo because they had been trying to make black customers pre pay for their food I immediately thought "has to be Denny's."
Of course it was.
This is just the latest in a long history of Denny's basically trying to be the KKK of affordable American diners. Interrupted by their attempts to make good with black people by sponsoring the Harlem Globetrotters. No, seriously, they did that.
What is up with this? Perhaps equally mystifying is why any black person would go into one at this point since they've clearly spent decades saying "we don't want your business!"
