Desktop Sharing / Webinar suggestions

I've been asked to set up a teleconference, where remote users can view what's on a Windows (Win7 or XP) or Linux desktop. (The remote user doesn't have to be able to make updates, but just view things. It only needs to communicate with one remote user.)

Does anyone have any suggestions for software or services to do this (hopefully something people have experience with)? It'll be a one-time thing so I don't want to waste too much time with infrastructure.

Requirements:
- Low cost (or free if possible)
- Remote users should be able to access the session without installing software (perhaps through a web browser)
- The desktop is running on a machine behind a firewall.

I've done this years and years ago with Netmeeting, but I know that's been out of date for a long long time.
