Epson multi function printer gets wrong IP - help, plz!

In my private house, I have a Wi-Fi enabled Epson Stylus SX435W printer/scanner.

Problem:
When I switch it on, most of the time it has the IP number 192.168.192.9 - this does not belong to my WLAN!
Sometimes though (perhaps 1 out of 10 tries) it gets 192.168.0.12

My WLAN router has 192.168.0.1 and is set up to start assigning IP numbers to new clients starting with 192.168.0.10

As a result, the printer can only be reached from within my network when it has the x.x.0.12 number, but appears offline to my computer when it has the x.x.192.9.

WHY does it pull the wrong IP number most of the time? I suspect it has a bit to do with neighboring WLANs; that perhaps the printer first chats with another router that initially assigns it a number, before then trying to sign into my router as it should.

The printer itself has some front controls that allow me to print a Wi-Fi status, and to select an SSID and punch in the pass key. But no menu options for any more detailed network setup.
HOW can I tell the sucker to receive an IP from the right router?
