1864: yet another bow to wooism

This is a thread specially for the Danish members, but other may join in the dismay!

Before Christmas, a grand Danish serial about the disastrous war with the German confederation in 1864 was aired. The serial has received quite a bit of flak because of its too creative messing with historical characters - quite justified in my view - but surprisingly not a single critic has raised an issue that for me was ruining everything: one of the main soldier characters was a psychic sorcerer! We see this man psychically knowing when the Germans will bombard, he causes an entire German platoon to sleep by looking in their eyes, he saves the life of a dying soldier by using Philippine bare-hands surgery, and so on.

I know that film directors and script writers think that woo woo is real, and aspects of this shows in every second movie, particularly crime movies. But I am surprised that Danish society has been so accustomed to wooism that highly critical reviewers do not even mention it?

Well, I am appalled, and I expect you are too.
