b) I'm sick of people who try to evoke images of the past. Well, in this case, this isn't 1945 anymore, we don't have a pressing national crisis that justifies this sort of measure.
c) We have seen how government has behaved with GCHQ/Extraordinary rendition. What makes you think they will not abuse this power to intrude into people's lives?
