Who are these random names contacting me on Skype?

In the last week, I've got a couple of contacts from random individuals on Skype. Is this phase one for a phishing or 416 adventure?



I don't bother answering them, but I'm curious if anyone knows of anything specific about Skype that would attract them. Or is this just random crap that people do nowadays?
