It's contrary to all doctrines to try to prophecy the future, especially the second coming of Jesus the Christ, and especially by using the bible to do so. I was giving this some thought, and then, because I'm a masochist, I stopped by WND to see what my favorite bunch of end-times nutjobs are coming up with. I have no interest in Christianity, especially the various Protestant sects, but I have to admit the evidence is striking.
We have a man who is openly seeking personal profit at the expense of the weak, while those he prays upon defend him. (Witness his entire career of taking advantage of conservatives)
He has survived deadly wounds (to his credibility). Seriously, the man keeps coming back, no matter what. Swiftboating turned out to be a lie? So he'll preach abiotic oil. That's nonsense? Look, birth certificates!
Now he's misinterpreting Catholic doctrine and blatantly insulting the current Pope, all to a paying audience of people who would, if he wasn't so unbelievably charismatic, see him for what he is and turn on him.
Plus, he's perverted the government and the course of justice. (In part of Arizona. In a sheriff's office. I stand by that statement.) And every time someone tries to get close enough to figure out what he's done, his disciples gather around him and ward off unfriendly questions through threats and bloviation.
Now, I'm just asking questions here, since I'm really concerned about these poor delusional people. Is it possible that Jerome Corsi is the Devil, or doing his bidding? And if not him, then who? After all, I haven't seen any proof that Jerome Corsi is not serving the ultimate source of evil in this world, devoted to the destruction of all that is good and holy. Why haven't we seen his baptismal certificate? Has anyone seen his feet? Inquiring minds want to know that he is not hiding uncloven hooves!
The preceding post has almost entirely been a satire/parody and is not meant to be taken as an accusation that Jerome Corsi is literally Satan or the Anti-Christ. Also, no offence was meant to either the Anti-Christ or Satan by the comparison. Hail Satan. Why am I writing this disclaimer? Because whatever the status of Corsi's satanic allegiances, I know for a fact that he and his buddy Farah sue at the drop of the hat, and I am preemptively cmoa.
