If you have the time I suggest taking the quiz at necessarybeing.net. I'm not sure about it, whether the questions actually logically bind you one way or another. I've always had trouble with necessary and contingent stuff, including this quiz.
Apparently my results imply that there is a necessary being. Can the universe be the necessary being, or does it have to be Brahman? I'm not sure this quiz is even talking about that, but I heavily associate contingent-necessary stuff with arguments about theism, probably because they're the only time I read anything about them.
