There is little justice in a legal system influenced by atheists:
"Ahlquist claimed that the content of this banner was offensive to non-Christians and that it violated her civil rights. What about the people who were offended because the teen atheist got her way and the banner was removed?
Our Heavenly Father.
Grant us each day the desire to do our best.
To grow mentally and morally as well as physically.
To be kind and helpful to our classmates and teachers.
To be honest with ourselves as well as with others.
Help us to be good sports and smile when we lose as well as when we win.
Teach us the value of true friendship.
Help us always to conduct ourselves so as to bring credit to Cranston High School West.
Amen.
The banner was removed in March of 2012 and the school and city officials agreed to pay $150,000 in legal fees to the Rhode Island Affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union. This is how many of these cases are won. Its the legal fees that stack up...so schools and municipalities capitulate."
