My bias is on the side of the parents. The kid is still in a wheelchair after 10 months, the parents don't seem like cranks or fanatics, and they have three other children who are apparently in good health. But my mind is far from made up.
This seems like a good case for skeptics to consider... maybe it should be moved to health and medicine. I'll leave that call to the mods, but I think it is primarily a social issue because of the child abuse hook and the involvement of the courts.
